Prior to his current position, he spent 20 years in senior executive roles with Time Warner Cable where he served most recently as The Regional Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Texas with responsibility for more than 2.2m customers and $2.5b in annual revenues. He led the competitive strategy for Time Warner Cable and has successful first hand experience with FiOS, U-verse, DirecTV and DishNetwork. While serving on the front lines in the battle against the BOCs, he also worked on initial deployments of Video OnDemand, Wireless SpeedZones, RoadRunner, DVR, StartOver, Digital Video, Digital Voice, Go2Broadband, Pricing - Packaging - Bundling and the Pivot Wireless JV - Consumer products - Specializing in reaching broad consumer and business markets.  Recent consulting work includes the Amdocs' CES platform (BSS/OSS as well as their cloud based connected home platform and media hub strategy for their Broadband, Cable and Satellite division.

The term innovation means a new way of doing something. It may refer to incremental, radical, and revolutionary changes in thinking, products, processes, or organizations. A distinction is typically made between Invention, an idea put to a trial, and innovation, which is ideas applied successfully. (Mckeown 2008)  Continuing to do the same things and expecting a different outcome is a trap that is easy to get caught in.  The importance of customer focus in building competitive advantage.  And, the most obvious point that many managers overlook or don't really understand is the concept of "Superior Value" relative to the competition and how that plays into customer decision making.
